One thing we’ve become aware of through our work with ActiveCo is the need for risk assessment, in terms of the equipment we’re using. We now know if it should be replaced, if it should be under warranty, and what measures and controls need to be put in place to ensure that we have the maximum amount of up time on our network, our PCs, and all our technological devices. It has been great to go through that process with them because we can now stay focused on our business and not be worried about having a failure of a critical network component or a piece of equipment that we use on a regular basis. After going through that process to identify which pieces are critical and what our risk is, understanding that risk and making adjustments and reacting properly, we’ve not only greatly gained peace of mind but also have had a fabulous result of very little down time in our network.
We have been with ActiveCo since August 2009 and are looking forward to a long continuous relationship. They have been involved in both current and proactive aspects of our business. We have been assigned a team with whom we work closely and with whom we have formed good relationships. We feel confident going forward that our needs are being addressed both in the short term and the long term. We asked for and received an extensive time line for our system maintenance/replacement that we can now work with for budget purposes. From our monthly meetings, we receive our updates on our system. It is very important to us that we have the knowledge of our own system.
We feel very comfortable recommending them to other would-be users.Prior to ActiveCo, our technology was in desperate shape. Our IT infrastructure was problematic, unreliable and not supported effectively. Our previous vendor was not able to provide a disciplined holistic support process to our environment and we were hampered by technology in our ability to fulfill our corporate objectives.
We engaged ActiveCo to stabilize and improve on our IT network and to ensure that our IT, which is mission-critical, is reliable, is available and is scalable to our business needs. The transition from the initial consultation thru to the final stages of ActiveCo’s managed services on-boarding process was smooth, well-managed, well-documented and clear.
Your engineer’s diligence, understanding and patience in providing service to ‘non-technical’ people, such as ourselves, which is not always the easiest job, needs to be commended. They have done an exceptional job.
