As an accountancy practice, we have been with HDUK for over 2.5 years now and gave them approx. £2,000 business in all these years but after our practice decided to migrate everything to the cloud, we gave HDUK 3-months written notice as per our agreement. Therefore, our final date to leave was set at 31-May-2022. It's been over 2 weeks now since we've been sending them emails to their multiple accounts for guidance and help about migrating our data to our server but received no response to any of our email whatsoever. I called them twice and was told someone would get in touch but never received any call back.
I am now worried what will happen to our data? will everything be securely deleted from their server?
If you are looking for a professional and reliable company for your IT requirements then look elsewhere, because HDUK lacks professionalism and reliability. Furthermore, during our time with them, there were two data breach incidents on their servers.

Would not recommend... We have had nothing but problems since we changed from WorkPlaceLive to HDUK. Today being the worst, where we have waited all day for them to grant access to our software provider to update our licences. We have called 8 times so far, to be told the ticket is of the highest priority and will be looked at soon. Unfortunately no time estimate has been given. I would definitely advise to avoid using them.

As a registered Charity we choose our resources and what we spend on them very carefully so our introduction to HDUK was not auspicious, as they acquired our old provider and prices rapidly increased. We gradually worked through the problems and migrated from what was becoming an old unusable cloud solution to a snappy easily managed one using Office 365, this has been a complete revelation to the way we work. I am now paying less money than I was this time last year too. The migration was not perfect but they seldom are whoever you are with and they worked hard to smooth out our snagging and tried to understand our idiosyncracies, work with them and provide solutions. Their support team have always gone above and beyond and (I suspect because we are a Charity) help us with other IT issues beyond their service agreements. Do I have to wait sometimes, yes I do but and it is a big but I do not pay the top dollar for instant helpdesk assistance - I get it often, but understand that may not always be the case. I am not afraid to use a metaphorical shotgun and have done so occasionally but it never feels fruitless and I always feel listened to and acted upon. This time last year I would probably have done anything to move my cloud supplier from HDUK but after the year we have had we would never have managed without a fast, stable, readily accessible cloud service and the advice and support from this team

Four stars - they have some things to work on, they know that and constantly strive to improve, I have seen it over the past 12 months

We have worked with HDUK now for nearly a year and to be honest I cannot not fault their service, I was totally clueless when it came to cloud based servers with regards to security and how user friendly they are, I spoke to their guy Nick and he was able to answer all my questions, as I was so in the dark about this service he even recommend contacting other providers to compare costs and the like. I chose HDUK as they offered what best suited us as a company, the set up was super easy and super fast, we had no down time at all. I would recommend to anyone.

We have had many issues with this company. We recently underwent a server upgrade despite us not really wanting to do this. We have a CRM and only a few users. The server transfer was an absolute nightmare. We had various issues and down time. The server move was not planned properly by them. We definitely lost money because of the problems. It took them a week to sort out the issues. We have recently discovered that they have put a restriction on each person email allowing us to only send 250 emails out per person per day. This is crazy as part of our business is to communicate certain products to be people who have registered with us for information. This is incredible and we were not aware of this at all until recently. This will have also have cost us money and also demonstrates they are clueless about our business. Also waits of up to 30 minutes trying to get through to their support team is not uncommon. Quite frankly they have become a disaster. I have given them 1 star but would like to actually give them minus 10 stars

In such a heavily regulated industry, I had concerns that a cloud-based server would not be secure. However, my fears were eliminated, as HDUK had vast knowledge of the legalities governing the legal profession, particularly confidentiality, as well as in terms of my specific business needs. HDUK have reassured me regarding the security of the system for confidentiality, compliance and safeguarding documents for the continuity of my practice.
