I would definitively recommend Backbone Connect. They provided a really attentive level of services for us and we have taken advantage of it. For anyone that is looking for a strategic partner that is going to help them grow and service their customers, I don’t think really they can get any better than Backbone Connect.
The data centre and connectivity, integrated with our internet access, makes Backbone Connect a core business partner in our IT infrastructure. What’s more, this single supplier saves us considerable amounts of time and complications as we have a single contract, one SLA and, most importantly, one point of contact.
I’d recommend Backbone Connect 100%. Their technical knowledge is second to none, they have always been available on the phone, any problems we have had as minor as they have been, they have been fixed in a minute. I call their IT department pretty much any time of the day, even night sometimes and they answer which is a massive bonus for our business. Being an international business 24/7 support is very very important to us and Backbone Connect offers that!
When we had some damage to our SFP adapter, Backbone Connect simply came in and replaced it for us, no questions asked. We have a really personable account manager who speaks with us every month. Perhaps the biggest thing for me is not only being able to get through to somebody, but getting through to somebody who knows who I am, what our account is, and is willing to deal with our issue, either there and then or, at least, you feel that it is in hand. Even though they are a big company, I still feel as if we’re one of their main accounts.
They aren’t hiding behind a job number or an email address. They call and check up on us all the time. They put things in layman’s terms, so it is easy for us to pass the information onto our clients. We just don’t have to worry about connectivity anymore. Backbone Connect are a breath of fresh air.
