I feel privileged to write a testimonial for Appalachia Technologies in regard to both its IT services and the quality of its team. I worked with Appalachia Technologies throughout our entire IT vendor changeover process. For our company, it was important to not only find a vendor that could best support our existing IT processes and systems, but also to improve our processes.
Appalachia Technologies traveled to our site several times and met with our team to ensure we captured all of our key requirements. In addition, they presented us with ideas for process and systems improvements that enabled us to define and optimize our IT processes to align with our company goals and position us for future growth. They recommended many solutions that were much more efficient then what we currently had in place.
The quick thinking and expertise of their team saved us during two particularly stressful occasions; once, when an employee’s computer unexpectedly crashed and they were able to recover all of the data from the machine and again when we had a server stop working unexpectedly and they were able to minimize downtime and keep our company operational.
Changing IT vendors can be a difficult process with many associated risks. The Appalachia Technologies team helped us address the risks and positioned us for a successful changeover. It is not only important to take the appropriate steps when selecting an IT vendor, but to have a partner you trust to help guide you through the process. I highly recommend Appalachia Technologies as a partner for all IT needs.We found we were spending a tremendous amount of time, energy, and effort on attempting to keep up with technology and the growing needs of our school district. We truly recognize that we need to focus our attention on how we are utilizing technology and its impact on instruction.
