Down time is a killer for us. Our highly skilled team is available to provide 24-hour emergency service. With everything running through computers, we need access 24/7 without hiccups. Our phone system needs to be ‘up and running.’ Our voice system, managed through our network switch, comes through our internet provider, which has to be ‘up and running’ to keep us accessible to our customers and team.
I’ve been very happy with River Run. They have their company together, run a good business and take care of clients.We are streamlining our IT Projects, adding resources, and creating a Project Management Office. After helping identify staffing needs, River Run also provided market rates for those positions to help in our planning.
This advice really helped us when we hired new staff. For example, we wanted to make sure our network engineers are focused on network engineering, and no other IT tasks. We realized that some positions need to be specialized instead of jack-of-all-trades positions.
River Run accomplished their work quickly, produced the Executive Summary promptly after their on-site visit, and met with the top leaders in a timely fashion. I was very satisfied with the engagement performance and the work product produced.We implemented this project from a cost savings perspective and are pleased that the Wi-Fi network has paid for itself in two years. Although implementing a project like this during our busy season can be a challenge, we’d certainly recommend River Run to another business for IT support.
We had some unique needs and River Run adapted to meet our business processes. One of the things we very much appreciated is that River Run made their team available before normal support hours to accommodate our working hours.
Part of what we look to River Run for is to plan for the future, both in terms of technology and growth. We meet with River Run several times a year to plan for upgrades or changes in security of technology. Part of the value River Run brings is to make sure we are ready for upcoming business needs.
