Following a meeting with Strident at my previous employer, I attended Strident's GDPR presentation. I was impressed by their expertise and proactive approach, helping and advising people ahead of the GDPR deadline.
Data security is important to all businesses, but as solicitors we need to continuously demonstrate that we have our information and our customers' information properly protected.
We already use an online case management system, so we understand the value of having our data in the cloud. We are reviewing moving more of our data to Office 365 starting with our email and Strident has the expertise to help us do that.

Cyber Essentials was highlighted to us by Strident Ltd and after conducting our own research we decided it would be a good benchmarking exercise. We already had a number of processes in place to limit our exposure to cyber-attacks, such as anti-spam via Office 365, anti-virus system and a firewall. Cyber Essentials certification required us to review what we do and to further tighten up our procedures. Security procedures need to consider the actions of company staff as well as the technical aspects.
IT security is a complex and specialist area of IT and it was great that Strident took us through the process and we could independently verify the IT security they put in place.

We are very pleased with the new system and Strident's support. It's a step in the right direction and provides us with a solid foundation on which to build resources for staff and students. The Meraki filtering system offers the high level of control we were looking for.

Strident's careful planning ensured our email, an essential tool in running our business, moved seamlessly to the cloud. Moving to hosted email has given us more capacity, simplified email management for our users and provided great security.

We have worked with Strident for many years, their understanding of our business needs and the way in which we work is a great asset, as is their flexibility and personal approach. The fact that I can phone Strident office and speak directly with a technician is extremely valuable as it ensures that any issues are dealt with swiftly, allowing me to continue with my daily routine, rather than waiting by the phone for somebody to phone me back.
