About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Implementations technical team. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the candidate will need strong interpersonal skills, and as a senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for building your own day around client meetings, project planning & delivery of multiple concurrent projects.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Working with relevant stakeholders to deliver solutions using RODIN's product/service stack (Microsoft 365, Private Cloud, Sophos, Cisco, Xelion)
• Provide pre-sales design support to Technical Account Managers and Sales team
• In collaboration with key team members, ensure the project delivers a smooth transition to front-line and operational support teams so that impacts to service delivery and other BAU activities are minimised
• Build project plans, manage and deliver projects
• Final (L3) support escalation point for client requests and support team
• Providing all levels of support services via ConnectWise Manage PSA & RMM Systems
• Document clients' infrastructure and business systems in ITGlue
• Train & mentor RODIN's Support and Project team
• Maintaining vendor certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Sophos, Connectwise - to name a few)

Required Skills

• Proven experience in managing the end-to-end delivery of concurrent complex IT projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource management
• Proven experience migrating business systems to the Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystem
• Proven experience managing people/teams for the purpose of project delivery
• Previous experience in an MSP project delivery role is essential (min. 5 years)
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem (setup of new tenants, migration projects, etc.)
• Private & Public Cloud infrastructure (design and deployment)
• Microsoft Identity & Endpoint (Conditional access, Intune)
• Windows Server (design and deployment)
• High-level understanding of Networking Technologies (DHCP/DNS/LAN/VLAN/WLAN/WAN/WIFI)
• Experience with Antivirus/XDR Technologies
• Experience with Next-Gen Firewalls
• VOIP & Unified Communication experience – desirable but not essential
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience with ConnectWise PSA/RMM/Project setup preferred
• Ability to build team culture focused on a successful delivery

Personal Attributes

• A valid NSW driver’s license and your own roadworthy vehicle
• Current Microsoft 365/Azure certifications - desirable
• Formal project management accreditation/qualification – desirable
• Exceptional communication and proven stakeholder management experience
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and strong project management discipline
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Eager to continuously grow and improve technical skills
