As one of the only regionally based Telstra Platinum partners, RMT is a high performing MSP looking for TWO (2) experienced IT Project Engineer's to support our rapid growth based in any of our three office locations - Townsville QLD, Thornton NSW, or Armidale NSW.

About the role:

As an RMT IT Project Engineer, you will work and manage projects independently, showing high levels of initiative and autonomy.

Given the varied nature of projects within an MSP environment, high levels of competency are required within the following areas/platforms:

• Microsoft platforms - Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Teams / Teams Phone, Security and Compliance platforms
• Microsoft Azure, including migration from on-premises systems to Cloud
• Cisco Meraki, HP Aruba
• Project scoping, planning, and management including adherence to budget, scope, and quality delivery requirements
• Co-ordinating and managing third-party providers, as needed
• Providing high level assistance to the Service Team for complex tasks
• Creating and updating technical documentation
• Providing input into client systems enhancements and business improvement 

About you:

As an RMT IT Project Engineer, you will join a team of experienced, certified engineers. 

You will have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT project-focused role, ideally within an MSP environment
• A high-level understanding of IT principles across Microsoft Azure, Office 365, IP networks and server virtualisation
• Relevant industry certification, namely Microsoft and Cisco
• Familiarity with the Essential 8 Maturity Framework security guidelines
• Experience with the use of PSA and RMM platforms, ideally ConnectWise & N-able N-central
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
