Requirements

We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who is passionate about innovation and breaking boundaries to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of driving cutting-edge solutions and will play an integral role in shaping the future of our company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance and management of Windows Server OS platforms, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of the operating system and applications.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and software, such as SAN systems, hypervisors, and backup systems.
• Administration and maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Administration of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, including the design, configuration, and support of virtual environments.
• Provisioning and management of cloud-based resources, such as Azure, including monitoring and optimizing performance and availability.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to servers, applications, and infrastructure.
• Collaboration with other teams, such as network and security teams, to ensure the smooth operation of the entire IT environment.
• Development and maintenance of system documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Mentoring and coaching junior staff, providing technical guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll bring a supercharged set of skills to the table, including:

• Expertise in Microsoft Windows server operating systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Proficiency in hardware and software configuration, installation, and administration in a Wintel environment.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Knowledge and experience of scripting languages such as PowerShell to automate tasks and improve system management.
• Familiarity with server hardware technologies and configurations, including RAID, SAN, and NAS.
• Several years of experience in Wintel systems engineering, including deploying, and maintaining small to large-scale systems.
• Experience with server migrations and upgrades, including hardware and software changes.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution, including backup and restore processes.
• Demonstrated experience in configuring and administering various infrastructure technologies such as storage, databases, and middleware.
• Familiarity with security concepts and protocols such as encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Certifications in the above technologies are highly desirable
