• Proficient in the Commerce components of D365 F&O

Barhead Solutions is looking for a D365 Functional Consultant - Commerce to join our growing practice.

As a D365 Functional Consultant, you will work with key customers to design and implement solutions that leverage the power and flexibility of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce modules. You will also collaborate with other functional and technical consultants, as well as customer teams, to deliver one set of business outcomes.

The role involves comprehensive planning, discovery workshops, addressing functional gaps, meeting deadlines, and preparing clients for system use. You must be disciplined, collaborative, and adept at addressing change requests and providing functional training. As well as being an accomplished communicator and advisor, this role requires a deep understanding of Retail solutions and proven implementation experience in D365 Commerce, including In Store POS operations, Pricing, Discounting, Channel Management, and more.

As a D365 Functional Consultant, you will:

• Utilise your business background and product knowledge to propose the optimal functional configuration of the D365 Commerce solution, using both core functionality and potential extensions with partner ISV or Microsoft platform solutions such as Power Platform, Power BI, and Azure Services
• Run workshops to confirm customer business process requirements against solution designs
• Help customers evaluate their applications, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment, and drive customer satisfaction
• Develop, maintain, and document comprehensive D365 configuration requirements based on customer discovery workshops and strategic priorities, working with technical teams to address any gaps in the functional review process
• Develop deep trusted relationships with customer business decision makers by understanding their business pains, requirements, strategic objectives, industry trends, and providing value-based solutions
• Work as part of a team to own the configuration design and functional rollout of solutions
• Mentor and develop junior consultants by allowing them to shadow you
• Meet deadlines using strong organisational skills and habits
• Address key change request scenarios with quantifiable business value outcomes and justifications
• Prepare your clients to use the system by supporting testing and providing functional training to users

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A deep understanding of Retail solutions as well as proven implementation experience in D365 Commerce
• Prior experience with the following D365 Commerce modules including In Store POS operations,Pricing and Discounting, Channel Management, Payment Methods,Worker Assignments, Catalogues and Inventory Management
• Experience in Core Finance modules would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A customer-centric mindset and a collaborative approach
• A willingness to learn new technologies and skills

Ideally you will have at least some of the following Certifications:

• MB-340 - Microsoft Dynamics 365: Commerce Functional
• MB 300 - Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations
• MB 310 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
• MB 330 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
