About the job

As a Presales Solution Architect at Data#3, you will play a pivotal role in working with Account Teams to position Data#3's offerings effectively with customers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and position innovative and modern solutions using Microsoft-based technologies across Modern Work, Azure, and M365.

This will include meeting with our customers (both in-person and virtually), presenting Microsoft-based technology solutions, gathering business and functional requirements, architecting solutions, approaches, and cost models. These activities will result in compelling proposals that align with and exceed our customer’s expectations. Your expertise will be crucial in highlighting the value of Data#3's solutions and technologies. 

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with Account Executives and managers to identify and qualify business opportunities for Data#3
  • Work closely with our vendors and customers to understand their business strategy, requirements, and objectives in order to identify solutions that will provide value.
  • Create proposals, responses, and pricing models for RFx with modern solutions and approaches that meet our customers' requirements using Microsoft technologies.
  • Clearly differentiate Data#3
  • 3 and present the value of the solution offerings developed.
  • Contribute to development of our national go-to-market offerings.
  • Maintain deep expertise in the latest Microsoft products and offerings across Modern Work, Azure and M365.  Including having a high-level knowledge of competing technologies, products, and platforms in-market across the broader modern IT landscape.
  • Maintaining certifications as required.
  • Actively participate in post-sales activities including customer and vendor events.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a presales role.
  • Extensive experience in creating proposals and responding to tenders, including the ability to accurately estimate effort and develop complex cost models and Work Breakdown Structures.
  •  Comprehensive knowledge of the following Microsoft technologies:
  • Modern Workplace (Intune, Windows 11, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, MDM/MAM)
  • Azure (Entra ID, Azure IaaS Compute/Networking/Storage, Security, Azure Backup)
  • M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, CoPilot for M365)
  • A broad high-level knowledge of other Microsoft technologies including security and licensing.
  • Strong social and networking skills, with an ability to lead both technical and casual conversation with vendors and customers of varied technical literacy.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting Microsoft solutions to customers at all organisational levels including technical and non-technical audiences.
