About the Role:
As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Full-Time Systems and Network Engineer to complement our existing team. In this role you will work on escalated support tickets, change requests and projects. Specific tasks include:
- Microsoft & Office 365 deployment, configuration, and support
- IT Security development and implementation.
- Network, Cloud and Server configuration and troubleshooting
- Level 2 & 3 Help desk support for server, network, cloud, and desktop related issues
- Capacity planning, installation, configuration of Windows Server and Network Solutions
- Project engineering during installations
- System documentation and maintenance
- Remote monitoring of systems at network and systems levels
What Do You Need to Be Successful in This Role?
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience supporting Microsoft server technologies, (Windows Server, 365, Active Directory)
- Experience with storage administration, SQL Server, IT security, operational procedures, and disaster recovery
- Knowledge of and extensive experience in Azure, Office/Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based technologies.
- Experience working within an MSP, and familiarity with the ConnectWise suite is an advantage.
- Hyper V experience
- Experience with StorageCraft & Barracuda solutions
- An excellent understanding of modern security requirements
- Strong client service delivery focus and the ability to effectively communicate with the end user.
- Demonstrated hardware and networking support, including firewall configuration and support.
These requirements are important, but equally relevant is your keenness to learn and stay up to date on modern Microsoft technologies such as Intune, Autopilot, AI, Lighthouse and others. Certification, and a desire to develop your skills will make you successful in this role.

The position is based in Salisbury, Queensland and some interstate travel may be required. Of course, we are a flexible company where working from home is possible. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. We are focused on new technological development and encourage our staff to learn and develop.
Essential requirements:
You must hold a current Australian Driver’s License and be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident. You may be required to obtain a police clearance, and blue card.
