We are seeking Expressions of Interest for Desktop Support Engineers.

In this role, you will provide first and second level technical support via telephone and online support tools and provide onsite/desk side support to our valued clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of IT desktop support experience in Windows Desktop environments.
  • Some Server support experience (Windows 2012-2019).
  • A solid understanding of computer, network and internet technologies.
  • Incident management at first and second level with troubleshooting capability.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or call centre environment working with telephony and job logging software.
  • Demonstrated experience in Customer service.
  • Customer Management Skills.
  • Queue Management Skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the *English language.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to manage competing priorities and follow processes.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification such as:

  • Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Information Technology
  • A Degree or Diploma in IT
  • Certificate 3 and/or 4 Microsoft MCP
  • ITIL Foundation Certification or similar industry qualification
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Microsoft Desktop Administrator Associate –(MDAA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert

*This role is customer facing and requires you to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, vendors and colleagues and you must be proficient in verbal and written communication in the English language. Where English is your second language we are seeking IELTS scores of no lower than 7.5. We will require proof of your IELTS score prior to interview.
