What you’ll do?

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for generating new business for the company and managing long-term relationships with clients.

  • Developing growth strategies and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Build, manage and retain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
  • Negotiating with stakeholders and maintaining existing business.
  • Following industry trends locally and nationally.
  • Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Work closely and collaborate with internal teams such as Pre-Sales, Sales Support and our Tender response team.
  • Work closely with our local partner community to develop, grow and maintain relationships with partner BDM's.

What you’ll bring?

  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
  • Focused and goal-oriented.
  • Passionate to learn new technology and develop your skills.

Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
