Role Overview:

Outcomex is offering a permanent full-time position for an accomplished Senior ICT Project Manager with extensive client-facing expertise and a proven track record in delivering end-to-end large-scale projects in ICT Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Cyber Security, Networks, and Data Centres.

This pivotal role within the Outcomex Project Management Office focuses on steering large-scale greenfield deployments and integrations of critical ICT infrastructure. The role entails establishing necessary ongoing support services for our clientele.

As the Senior ICT Project Manager, you will assume overall leadership and accountability for project delivery in alignment with agreed-upon direction and vision. This involves effective management of project activities, risks, issues, conflicts, priorities, resources, and communications. Your primary objective is to ensure the successful realization of the scope of work, strategy, business targets, new capabilities, and benefits. You will drive projects from initiation to closure.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years of proven industry experience within a Professional Services environment, showcasing a history of successful delivery.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale projects end to end, ensuring successful delivery
• Engage with Executive Management, Stakeholders, Project Sponsors, Vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects from concept to implementation
• Plan and manage project delivery, incorporating rigorous scope control and change management
• Coordinate project teams through task delegation, resource assignment, and project management
• Document and manage project actions, decisions, risks, and issues
• Ensure client satisfaction, manage escalations, and serve as a single point of contact for clients
• Provide clear and concise communications to all stakeholders

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Degree in Information Systems or Information Technology (Mandatory)
• Certification in Project Methodologies such as Prince2 or PMP (Mandatory)
• ITIL Certification (Desirable)

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

• 6+ years of experience in a Senior Project Management role in a Professional Services environment (Mandatory)
• Experience managing complex IT Builds, Integrations, Migration, and Transformation projects in a Waterfall environment (Pure Agile PMs urged not to apply) (Mandatory)
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams through the project lifecycle, managing Scope, Budget, Schedule, Actions, Quality, Issues, Risks & Decisions (Mandatory)
• Proven experience delivering multiyear, large-scale, greenfield sites (Mandatory)
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, customer, and relationship management
• Experience presenting to Executive Steering Committees
• Extensive experience delivering in a Waterfall environment
• Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Expert Microsoft Project Scheduling
• Ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and clients
• Solid IT technical background
• Strong customer service and relationship management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and quality
• Excellent time and people management skills
• Detailed, meticulous, and highly organized
