We’re excited by the fact our team is continuing to expand. And, as we continue to grow, we’re on the hunt for a suitable candidate to join us as an Embedded Desktop Support Officer at a client site in the Echuca-Moama Region.

Requirements

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Utilise your skills and passion for technology to solve technical issues on Apple macOS and iPadOS devices; supporting the operating systems, hardware and client side applications on these devices. The successful candidate will be a fast learner who enjoys expanding their knowledge;
  • Provide end users with training on how to better use their devices and assist them to learn something new;
  • Be personable with end users developing a friendly bond with customers;
  • Collaborate with your fellow colleagues to determine any processes which need improvement or can be handled more efficiently;
  • Seek customer feedback on your performance and take an active approach in attempting to continuously improve these results;
  • Identify problems or requests which don't have an existing process and collaborate with your peers to develop and implement one;
  • Provide outstanding service to end users across the organisation, and provide outstanding maintenance of all IT equipment at customer sites.

Requirements

Here’s what you’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Previous experience in a Desktop Support or Service Desk role
  • A broad level of skills across Apple hardware and software systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting macOS platforms
  • Experience installing and configuring hardware and software
  • Experience with mobile device management for macOS and iOS devices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software
  • Networks knowledge and experience would be an advantage
  • A positive mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Able to convey complex IT concepts to non-IT users.
  • Good time management skills - able to thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Please note that all team members must have a valid state-based Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police check, and be authorised to work in Australia.

This role does not require any formal qualifications and is classed under the Business Equipment Award.
