What you’ll do?
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for being the point of the escalation for tickets, guide and up skill other engineers, take proactive measures and provide solutions for high value managed service and prepaid support customers.
- Assist Engineers in processes for deploying and configuring network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Providing training to other team members or client personnel on network technologies and best practices.
- Analysing client requirements and business goals to design efficient and scalable network solutions.
- Communicating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes.
- Staying current with CCIE certifications by participating in ongoing professional development and renewing certifications as required.
What you’ll bring?
- 4+ years’ experience in a Senior Systems Engineer role or similar position.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Deep understanding of Network Architecture and solutions
- Proven track record of working with various technologies/vendors.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
