Why this role exists?

Our Data Recovery team is growing and we’re searching for a customer-focused, results driven individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our Customer Support team. As the primary point of contact for customer data recovery assistance at our Technetics offices, located in South Melbourne, the ideal person for this role will be exceptional at delivering a prompt and positive IT customer experience, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, guiding customers through their data recovery journey all with a warm and welcoming greeting. What you’ll do?

• Have direct contact either Face to Face or by phone with Technetics Data Recovery Clients (Get your smile out this one’s a client facing role).

• You’ll be the face of our business and point of contact for B2C & B2C customers in need of data recovery services.

• You’ll provide a seamless customer experience, guiding and coordinating customers through the entire data recovery journey - from initial inquiry to successful data retrieval/completion.

• Proactively follow up on all customer feedback and reviews to maintain a high level of service.

• Coordinate courier services and dispatch data recovery jobs to the appropriate team members.

• Provide daily and weekly reporting of data recovery jobs and office operations to all stakeholders.

• Help our customers by sourcing hardware and software from various distributors, vendors, and marketplaces to meet their needs.

• Demonstrate basic technical knowledge of various computing and media devices, such as mobile phones, hard drives, computers, tablets, and network storage devices.

• Research new technology as required to stay up to date with industry trends and advancements.

• Collaborate with our sales team to create new and relevant marketing initiatives that promote data recovery services.

• Cross sell other services, looking for new business opportunities where possible to support our company growth.

• Attend relevant sales and/or management meetings and report on activities.

• Assist with general client service requests as and when required.

• Manage internal office supplies and stocks to ensure smooth operations.

• Prepare accurate quotes and follow up on invoices using Financial Applications to ensure prompt payment and satisfaction.

What you need?

The Ideal candidate will have had a min of 2 years’ experience in an Account/ IT Support, Sales, Customer Service role where they achieved results smashing sales targets. You will have exceptional time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

  • Min 2+ years' experience in sales, customer service, or administrative support role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple inquiries from various stakeholders at the same time.
  • Bachelor's degree in. IT, Business, Marketing, /Sales, Management or related field is preferred.
