Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing overall solutions, including high-level design, statements of work, service design, and bills of materials. You will collaborate closely with internal and external teams to deliver solutions both on-premise and in the cloud. Additionally, you will provide architectural governance across business as usual (BAU) and project delivery, ensuring alignment with architectural, operational, and security objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop overall solutions, including high-level design, statements of work, service design, and bills of materials.
  • Provide architectural governance across BAU and project delivery.
  • Drive outcomes while adhering to architectural, operational, and security objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external architecture teams to deliver solutions.
  • Work closely with Program and Project Managers to provide direction, guidance, and technical support.
  • Engage with customers and business representatives to understand business drivers, pain points, and potential IT solutions.
  • Engage with vendors to understand their technology and obtain necessary information for technical decision making.
  • Work autonomously with attention to detail.
  • Become a trusted partner for our customers, proactively engaging NRI for consultation and solutions.
  • Help grow NRI’s business by developing effective and valued IT solutions for our customers.
  • Drive continuous process and technical improvements for customer and NRI engagement.
  • Support current and new projects across NRI diverse IMS clients.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience defining, planning, and building enterprise-grade infrastructure.
  • Experience working in a managed service provider or systems integration environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and environments.
  • Technical awareness of enterprise technology trends and solutions.
  • Design, installation, and maintenance experience with DATA, VOIP, Wireless, and Secure enterprise systems.
  • Experience with OT Environments.
  • Experience and design of Checkpoint and Cisco Firepower.
  • Experience in Cisco Cyber Vision, Secure Network, and Secure Workload.
  • Experience and design of Cisco ACI and Cisco ISE.
  • Experience in Cisco REP.
  • Experience and design of BGP/OSPF/EIGRP routing infrastructure.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9K & Nexus 9K switching.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst 8K routers.
  • Strong design documentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple vendor equipment.
  • Network-aligned certifications preferred (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to present, articulate, and deliver technical documents or solutions at the appropriate level based on the audience.
  • Strong background and proven experience in technical detailed design documentation, self-motivation, task scheduling, ITIL processes, meeting deadlines, and communicating.
