NRI Australia seeks a proficient Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Newstead, Brisbane, conveniently located near transport connections. Responsibilities:

  • Create and update documentation for troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell for task automation.
  • Implement monitoring solutions for proactive issue resolution.
  • Participate in planning and executing EUC-related projects.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently for project delivery.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and documentation.
  • Ensure EUC solutions adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on security regulations and implement compliance measures.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Support Areas:

Endpoint Management:

  • Utilize Microsoft Intune to manage endpoints, implementing policies for compliance and data protection.
  • Desirable experience in iPad and iPhone deployment and upgrades via Intune with Windows management.

Office 365 Administration:

  • Oversee Office 365 administration, including email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams for enhanced user experience and collaboration.

Operating System Deployment:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for efficient and standardized OS deployment.

Hardware Support:

  • Provide comprehensive hardware support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for end-user devices.
  • Desirable knowledge of Lenovo hardware stack.

Endpoint Security:

  • Implement and manage security solutions, including antivirus, encryption, and measures to safeguard end-user environments.
  • Utilize Palo Alto Cortex XDR console.

User Support:

  • Offer responsive end-user support for hardware and software-related issues.
  • Communicate proactively with end-users, gather requirements, and provide timely updates on issue resolution.

Skills:

  • Microsoft Windows 10, Intune, Office 365 (Word, Excel, etc.), M365 admin for Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, (Lenovo) hardware (laptop and desktop), Apple OS and devices, remote assistance tools, ServiceNow, Palo Alto Cortex XDR
