Job Description
As our Customer Service Representative, you are the first point of contact and security for all visitors to the NEXTDC facilities. Championing the NEXTDC values, you will play a pivotal role in our world class customer experience.
- Greet all visitors to NEXTDC in a timely, friendly and professional manner
- Facilitate entry to, and exit of, the data centre in accordance with NEXTDC’s security policies and procedures
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor NEXTDC facility systems
- Provide accurate security incident reports
- General receptionist, administrative and customer service support duties
- Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Answer the overflow of calls to our Customer Support telephone line
Hours: This opportunity is a casual position covering leave and ad-hoc hours ranging through Days, Nights and Weekend shifts

Qualifications
- Passion for, and experience in, customer service and security
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, can-do, positive attitude with the ability to multitask
- Ability to build relationships with, and support, a wide variety of stakeholders
- Ability to lift up to 15kg to support with deliveries
- Must be an Australian Citizen for Security Clearance
Highly desirable
- Current Baseline or NV1 from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA), or willing to obtain
- Current Certificate II in Security Operations or higher, or willing to obtain
Please note, as a condition of employment, applicants must be willing to undertake National Police and Entitlement to Work Checks and may be required to undertake additional checks or clearances.
