I was attracted to Compugen because they have expert people focused on each aspect of the IT landscape – servers, networks, firewalls, etc. – so I felt we could build a new infrastructure correctly the first time. Compugen didn’t give me just one way to do things, but rather showed me various options, including one we could easily grow into down the road.
I realized we would need much better equipment to scale up to an enterprise-class IT model, and Compugen played a vital role in helping me with the design and choice of equipment. I’m glad I got Compugen involved right from the start to help us build a solid technology baseline.

Our thin-client ROI is just huge! The thin clients we’ve been running in our student environment have already been in place for about eight years without being replaced, while we’ve had to refresh our traditional desktop PCs twice during this same period. We chose Compugen because of their competence and extensive experience with virtualization in the Citrix environment.

We worked closely with the Compugen Emerge team to provide them the information they needed to configure the system for us. This was a good experience because the Compugen people were very helpful.

Changing service partners can be risky, and I was skeptical about the outcome but through their extensive transition process experience and the skills of their technicians, Compugen made a firm believer out of me.

The acquisition of National Home Services stressed the importance of being able to scale our infrastructure quickly and cost-effectively. There are definitely limitations when you’re relying solely on an in-house team and datacentre. Because we were outsourcing our IT infrastructure to Compugen, we were able to add 25% more space and computing capacity virtually overnight, and were able to accommodate the acquisition expediently. We simply wouldn’t have been able to do this without a flexible architecture design as well as Compugen’s resources and expertise.

I have personally been working with Compugen since about 2002 and have developed a strong relationship with them, so after several discussions about their asset disposition capabilities, I asked for their help, especially when I learned about their Green4Good program.
Green4Good offers an ethical way to dispose of old IT equipment, which aligns well with our desire to help the environment and our communities.

Compugen’s extra effort and the depth and breadth of their infrastructure capability have created a level of trust and confidence that continues to this day.

Thanks to Compugen and the flexibility and scalability of the new HP SANs, we’re now able to deliver infrastructure, applications and services a lot quicker, without having to constantly do a new procurement.

Compugen helped us build a complete IT infrastructure from scratch, including a server computing platform, user laptops, networking, Internet access, telephones, voice services and all the other tools we would need to run our business efficiently.

A highlight of our relationship with Compugen to date is that whenever I describe my requirements for a new or enhanced capability or network application, they simply ‘get it’, and they’re able to turn that into a workable design.

We were very happy with the work of the Compugen team and the strong project management and decision-making role they played on our behalf, especially since we were not able to give them very much support because we have so few IT people.

What I appreciate most is how Compugen took ownership of getting it done and dealing with any process changes that were required.

Perhaps more so than all the consultants and service providers I’ve worked with, I feel Compugen brought real working knowledge and experience to the table from having done all this before.
