Kaizen IT has been our preferred supplier and technology partner for over 10 years. As a global sports branding agency working at the highest level, we need to be at the forefront of creative technology, with speed and ease of communication at the heart of our client experience.
In the last 12 months, we have as a company re-structured and upgraded our Motion/Video department. Kaizen have been instrumental in making this happen as smoothly and effectively possible. We had initial in-house brainstorm into the kind of changes we wanted to make...These included: Maximising our existing 10GbE network and dedicated fibre line; increasing server bandwidth and capacity for more high resolution work; speeding up our 3D rendering pipeline; an overhaul to our backup and archiving workflows and a new video conferencing suite.
Kaizen then tirelessly worked with us to refine and aggregate these requests into a seamless & bespoke solution. The centre of this is a powerful SNS EVO server with multiple 10GbE & 1GbE clients with advanced video file management. Fed into this is a new multi-node rendering system. Daily backups are tackled by NAS systems that rapidly backup our mission-critical work both on and offsite. Finally doing away with external HDDs and dated LTO tape systems for our archive has been a godsend and is now replaced with on/offsite NAS boxes that give us great near-line access to archived data, combined with solid redundancy.
The final task was to install a new video conferencing suite in our boardroom, so we can more effectively communicate with our predominently European and Global client base. All of this is effectively maintained and managed by Kaizen on a 24/7 basis.

When we were planning the move to current office premises four years ago we were looking for an IT support firm to assist us. Prior to the move we had I suspect like many small businesses muddled through in house with help from time to time of a one man local IT expert, who was often not available when we needed him most. We decided that we need a better and more consistent level of support from a specialist with some understanding of the nature of our work and the Apple equipment we use.
After asking around and speak to various potential IT support companies Kaizen were recommended to us by an advertising agency client of ours. An initial meeting with MD Steve Timmiss quickly convinced us that Kaizen’s background in the “creative industries” meant they had an understanding of and empathy for what we hoped to achieve. We therefore took advice from Kaizen on the installation and commissioning of our new IT system. This involved making arrangements for Kaizen to take over the hosting of our email service from our on-site server to a cloud based arrangement with regular off-site back up to a secure data warehouse.
We also appointed Kaizen as our IT support company in respect of both hardware and software maintenance which is delivered either via on site visits when necessary or more often over remote log in to our machines via the internet. We find the IT advice and support we receive from time to time from Kaizen to be prompt and cost effective and are happy to recommend them to others for the provision of similar services. We wanted a company to come in and sort out our IT, our broadband and our phones. Several we spoke to bamboozled us with technical jargon and left us with more questions than answers.
Kaizen, on the other hand, took time to really understand what we wanted and explain to us in layman’s terms how their proposed solutions could work.
Despite my trepidation about sticky issues, like transferring email domains and phone numbers, it all went smoothly. The tiny hiccups that did happen (which were due to issues outside Kaizen’s control) were soon sorted out. The technicians who spent quite a lot of time in our offices were very, very helpful and patient!
The service since has been brilliant too. A quick call or email to the support desk soon gets us a solution. I would definitely recommend Kaizen for both IT and telecoms support.

Kaizen first started working with Intro in 2007. As a busy creative agency we are highly reliant on our IT systems running smoothly.
As our external IT company, Kaizen have guided us though upgrades, expansion and a relocation as well as the day to day issues which arise.
When I came on board to organise the agency move to a new build a few years ago, their support was immense from the start. They explained all the options and advised on CAT 6 cabling, leased lines, back up lines, the phone lines and system, the comms room, server - the list goes on. It was a complicated move which went smoothly without missing a day’s work - we absolutely could not have done it with without them.
Kaizen continue to support us with bi-weekly site-visits and daily help desk support. Our account manager consistently makes the impossible happen and our technician has the ability to fix just about anything. I’d thoroughly recommend Kaizen.
