I’ve had a long career in the IT industry and know what it takes to protect a rapidly growing firm like Wittock CPA from simple incidents to much larger threats like a hurricane. Irma would put any organization to the test, but because we took the preemptive steps to implement business continuity and cloud hosting with OnX, it was business as usual from an IT perspective.
Our previous website and eCommerce platform “really didn’t fit our customers’ needs, either from a functionality or reliability perspective. We spent a disproportionate amount of our time just trying to keep the site running and up-to-date.
The end goal was just to make it easier for people to find what they were looking for, whether they were on a mobile device or not. Building a new, engaging, mobile-responsive website with rich functionality and cutting-edge eCommerce was a chance for us to reset how we engage with our customers.
It’s really easy for a customer to now go in and say, ‘Just show me everything in a large. I know I’m not an extra-small, so I don’t want to be disappointed clicking through products that aren’t in my size’.Our partnership with OnX provides us with the tools and scalability to continue with our agile delivery process that enable us to be a leader in our industry.
